As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients participating in clinical decision-making and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management. This role not only enhances your clinical skills but also contributes to the overall mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine examinations diagnose and treat conditions
- Perform surgical procedures as required and appropriate
- Consult with other medical professionals regarding patient care
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records
- Participate in patient education and counseling
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of Florida
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is preferred
- Previous experience in a clinical setting as an Ob/Gyn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
Schedule: 1-2x 12-hour day or night shifts per month
Annual Deliveries: 365
Support Staff: CNM
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
