As a Locum MD you will provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to our patients ensuring their health and well-being. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals contributing to a collaborative approach that emphasizes patient-centered care. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional medical services within the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct patient examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a variety of Ob/Gyn conditions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in medical staff meetings and training sessions
- Educate patients on health and wellness topics
- Stay current with advancements in Ob/Gyn practices and technologies
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology (Associate level)
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform necessary procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
Schedule: 5p-7a 5-10 shifts a month
Annual Deliveries: 3300
Support Staff: Midwife physicians on call and residents
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
