Job Description:
We are excited to announce an opening for a Sr. Associate Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Manufacturing Planning. We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing operations. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be instrumental in ensuring that our production processes are efficient cost-effective and meet industry standards.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency cost reduction and quality enhancement.
- Create and maintain work instructions process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams ensuring adherence to manufacturing plans.
- Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Engineer experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related Engineer lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related Engineer experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with exposure to manufacturing planning.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes equipment and systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g. ERP systems).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
