Job Summary
Production Supervisor Manufacturing (Weekend 2nd Shift)
Location: Ripon WI
Shift: Weekend 2nd Shift FridaySunday 5:00 PM5:00 AM (additional days as needed)
Shift Differential: $500/month ($6000/year)
Job Overview
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced high-volume manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety people development production performance and continuous improvement with a strong emphasis on servant leadership. You will oversee stamping press operations ensure production targets are met and create a safe engaged and results-driven workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day production and staffing to meet safety quality and output goals
- Champion a safety-first culture conduct audits and lead incident investigations
- Supervise high-volume stamping press operations and optimize manpower and machine utilization
- Coach train and develop employees including cross-training and performance management
- Partner with Union Stewards on attendance discipline and employee relations
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing 5S and Kaizen initiatives
- Monitor KPIs downtime scrap and quality; implement corrective actions quickly
- Collaborate with maintenance quality and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Prior manufacturing supervision experience (stamping press preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Proven servant leadership and team development skills
- Bachelors Degree in Business Manufacturing Engineering or Operations (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
