Job Summary

E-Logic is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Manager to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role as the managerial lead overseeing the planning execution and delivery of high-priority IT projects and ensuring the IRSs initiatives are completed on time within budget and fully optimized for mission delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with IRS stakeholders technical teams and E-Logic leadership.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) schedules resource allocation and budget forecasts.
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams managing day-to-day project activities and driving accountability for task completion.
Proactively identify track and manage project risks and issues developing mitigation strategies and escalation paths as needed.
Serve as the primary point of communication for the project providing timely and accurate status reports presentations and briefings to all stakeholders including senior federal personnel.
Ensure all project artifacts and processes adhere to established Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidelines federal regulations and agile or waterfall methodologies as appropriate.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in project management o Project management professional (PMP certification).
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Minium 7 years as a project manager with minimum of 5 years in Federal Sector.
