Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Hematology/Oncology
Join our dynamic outpatient Hematology/Oncology practice located in the charming city of Plymouth Indiana. With a focus on providing exceptional care to adults and geriatric patients this role includes coverage at both the Plymouth and Mishawaka campuses ensuring a diverse and engaging work environment. The position requires infusion coverage and evening call for a new service line from March 2026 to March 2027 making it a unique opportunity for dedicated professionals in the field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participation in a Tumor Board.
- Management of Bone Marrow Transplants.
- Order diagnostic tests and images.
- Prescribe appropriate medications.
- Manage VAD/CV Catheters.
- Perform Bone Marrow Biopsies.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology.
- Active Indiana State License or IMLC with Letter of Qualification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Self-Query NPDB (to be pulled within the month).
- Demonstrated competency in both Hematology and Oncology.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification - REQUIRED.
- Active Indiana State License or IMLC with LOQ in hand - REQUIRED.
- BLS Certification - REQUIRED.
- Conversion Fee of $25k - REQUIRED.
