Description

In this role you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality orthopedic care to patients assisting with diagnosis treatment plans and follow-up care. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to orthopedic patients including assessments and treatment plans
- Assist orthopedic surgeons during procedures and in post-operative care
- Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up consultations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in clinical practice
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Requirements
- Valid NP or PA license in the state of Colorado
- Experience in orthopedic surgery preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Level I Trauma
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-5p
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Duties: Consults rounding H&P first assist as needed (not guaranteed) and general support of the orthopedic surgeon on call
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
