Job Summary

LGG Advisors with offices in Porto Lisbon London and Madrid provides a multitude of high added-value consultancy services to financial sector firms globally. Our team provides an array of comprehensive services catering specifically to our clients unique and evolving circumstances which require creative and careful consideration decision making and guidance.

Due to expanding business the firm is looking to hire a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for our Porto or Lisbon office to join our LGG Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation!

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable full-stack applications in alignment with established technology roadmaps and best practices.
Participate in requirement gathering solution design and system architecture discussions contributing to both functional and technical excellence.
Develop maintain and enhance front-end interfaces and back-end services ensuring high performance usability and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to ensure cohesive system integration testing and deployment.
Conduct thorough integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee application reliability and quality.
Implement SDLC best practices emphasising automation CI/CD pipelines and low-touch deployments.
Promote code quality through peer mentoring code reviews and adherence to development standards.
Proactively propose and drive technical improvements adopting new frameworks tools and methodologies to increase efficiency.
Partner with central teams architecture groups and engineering leads to ensure secure coding and robust SDLC processes.
Collaborate effectively with Production Support (APS) and other IT teams to ensure smooth delivery and maintenance operations.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in full-stack development using modern frameworks and tools with a strong front-to-back delivery mindset.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript Python and Java.
Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React Angular or .
Experience with back-end technologies like Django or Spring Boot.
Solid knowledge of database systems including both SQL and NoSQL.
Experience working in distributed Agile teams with tools such as Jira Bitbucket and Jenkins or similar.
Understanding of secure coding principles functional design systems and architectural patterns.
Fluency in English both written and spoken is mandatory.
5 years relevant work experience

Differentials:

Experience building micro services and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines automated deployments and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with architectural decision-making frameworks and non-functional requirements such as security fault tolerance and high availability.
