What youll do

• Draft review and negotiate contract terms and agreements under tight timelines to drive business growth while protecting TELUS interests.
• Provide strategic guidance on contractual matters and influence strategic decisions through expert risk analysis.
• Partner with internal stakeholders such as Sales Pricing Product Finance and Legal teams to shape the future of our contracts and service offerings.
• Champion contract management best practices across the organization.
• Optimize contract terms and templates based on evolving business landscapes.
• Maintain and manage key contract information to ensure compliance.
• Drive collaboration and partnerships with internal teams.
• Design and deliver training on contract compliance and best practices.

What you bring

• Law degree (LLB or JD) from an accredited university
• Bilingual proficiency (French/English) with contract drafting capabilities in both languages
• 2 years of experience in commercial contract drafting management and negotiation in particular with service agreements and SaaS agreements
• Expertise in contract and commercial law notably with technology contracts
• Proficiency with contract management tools
• Strong business acumen with ability to balance risk and commercial objectives
• Enthusiasm for process improvement with a track record of implementing efficiencies
• Exceptional communication skills

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients suppliers candidates external partners etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues internal partners stakeholders etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this positions main responsibilities given its national scope.
