Job Summary

PRICING STRATEGY AND MANAGEMENT

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations Finance and Brand Marketing to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.

Work closely with Marketing and Sales to design a multi year strategy in promotional campaigns that maximize revenue while maintaining brand value.

Utilize advanced data analytics tools to identify and cultivate category value development case studies and translate them into actionable strategies.

Lead the development and execution of consumer pricing and promotional strategies across Red Bull Canadas distribution channels.

Design and recommend a tailored pricing strategy by channel.

Conduct pricing and competitor analysis identify growth opportunities and prepare actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Partner with HQ Revenue Management teams to develop Price Elasticity studies along with leading the Marketing Mix Modelling elasticity inputs.


PROMOTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS

Generate dashboards to communicate revenue performance pricing/market trends customer behavior and competitive dynamics.

Identify opportunities for pricing adjustments promotions and product bundling as well as conduct in-depth pricing analysis forecast potential scenarios and recommend pricing adjustments based on data-driven insights.

Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions through post-campaign analysis identifying areas for improvement by performing regular profitability analysis on promotional activities measuring uplift brand impact and return on investment.

Lead PET (Price elasticity tool) process for Canada including data collection data inputs lift calculations and make actionable recommendations to the sales leadership team.

Develop promotional strategies frameworks and playbooks across Red Bull Channels.

Manage the business process for linking promotion data between internal sales promo input tool (CPM) and promo effectiveness tool (PET) to ensure data quality is high between two systems.

 

VALUE CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Lead deep analytical review leveraging data driven insights to optimize promotional strategy for volume lift while at the same time driving efficiencies in spend and optimizing ROI.

Work with National Account and Commercial Finance teams to ensure all trade spend is effectively managed forecasted and in line with business plan commitments.

Establish yourself as the Value Chain Management expert and implement VCM analysis for all key customers across all planning periods.

Partner with the Red Bull Canda Trade Finance teams HQ Data Analytics and Pricing team to lead in the creation of meaningful dashboards for key commercial finance KPI.

Lead regular trade term reviews with National Account Directors across top accounts.

Provide commercial support to customer teams (National Accounts / Category Management) on price architecture pack/pricing changes and trade terms.

Lead strategy development and execution for future Price increases across Canadian business.  

Coach and build the commercial acumen within the business to create visibility accountability and a culture of efficient spend management.


Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Quantitative Science or related field.

5 years of experience in CPG or related field and 3 years in a Revenue Management role is an asset.

Knowledge of pricing & price promotion dynamics utilizing syndicated data preferred (Nielsen Circana).

Ability to manipulate large amount of data coming from multiple sources: BI Nielsen Circana LDIA etc.

Proven account management & P&L Accountability.

Familiarity with demand forecasting techniques.

Expert-level Excel skills including Pivot tables Power Pivot lookups advanced formulas.

Expert-level data visualization skills in tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Strong experience in data analytics forecasting planning developing projections and estimates.

Experience in statistics including descriptive statistics correlation regression hypothesis testing and inference.


Additional Information :

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $98515 to $108885 . The actual base salary for this position will depend on various factors including but not limited to the candidates qualifications skills experience and work location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of Red Bulls bonus plan.
