Your new role

Our Heidelberg Family Services team is on the lookout for a senior practitioner with the passion skills and expertise to support our families with disability related needs.

In your new role you will be supporting better outcomes for children young people and their families through delivering evidence-based and outcome-focused intervention to families experiencing vulnerability.

  • Build trust and develop a positive and strong therapeutic bond with clients through outreach-based support.
  • Participate in strength-based family assessments client led case planning and Coaching Methods.
  • Provide Direct Supervision and support to nominated Child and Family Practitioner.

About you

You have:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Social Work Psychology Child & Family Social Welfare or a related discipline.
  • Eligibility of membership with a professional body (AASW APS SPA AHPRA) is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Disability Support sector inclusive of NDIS and support needs of families with disability needs.
  • High level skills knowledge of working in the child and family services welfare sector inclusive of family services family violence AOD and mental health.
