Locations: North and South Adelaide - Available Shifts
6:00am 10:00am
2:00pm 10:00pm (Active) followed by 10:00pm 6:00am (Passive)
Please note: the afternoon active and passive components form one continuous shift and cannot be split.
The Role
You will support young people living in out-of-home care by providing:
Active Support
Meal preparation dressing transport and social activities
Assistance to plan and achieve daily goals
Health Support
Administering and documenting medication
Following individual health support plans
Positive Behaviour Support
Managing behaviours triggers and escalations in line with support strategies
Safeguarding
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both yourself and the young person
Completing required documentation and incident reports
About You
Genuine motivation to work with young people
Availability for rotating rosters including weekends and overnight shifts
Current paid Working With Children Check
National Police Check
Valid drivers licence
Current First Aid certificate
Recent psychological assessment or willingness to obtain one
Relevant qualification or currently working toward a diploma or degree

What We Offer
Hourly rate in line with SCHADS Award Levels 2.1 2.2
Salary packaging: $15900 general and $2650 entertainment
