Our Commercial team is driven by data trends and a passion for our customerscurating the regions top fashion platform. The Category Buying and Planning teams work closely to drive sales maximise profit and deliver on-trend ranges that excite our customers.
We are currently on the look out for a Commercial Business Analyst to join our team. You will help shape strategy support budget planning and drive sales growth in line with THE ICONICs commercial vision.
Within this role your purpose is to support the acceleration of THE ICONICs Commercial strategy by leveraging strong commercial acumen and data-led insights. You will drive enhanced BI and data access within Commercial develop business cases and performance tracking for investments and roadmap features and create actionable reporting to track key KPI. Working closely with the Commercial Planning team you will help identify growth opportunities lead data initiatives. Your success will be measured by your ability to turn data into commercial results influence stakeholders and drive scalable growth for THE ICONIC.
What Youll Do:
- Support the Commercial team with initiatives requiring advanced analytical skills.
- Support the acceleration of THE ICONICs Commercial strategy using commercial acumen and data-led insights.
- Drive enhanced BI and data access within Commercial
- Support the development of business cases and performance tracking for investments and new roadmap features.
- Create and embed reporting and forecasting to track the performance of key KPIs for example marketplace and enabling services customer centric KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for increased profit and revenue through data analytics and articulate actionable findings.
- Support the Commercial team with commercial and operational modeling to drive positive negotiation outcomes.
- Own Commercial development initiatives related to data visualization and data management.
- Liaise with stakeholders within Global Fashion Group (GFG) Operations and Finance to share best practices and collaborate for success.
- Maintain relationships with internal data and analytics teams to ensure shared learning and cross-functional initiatives.
Essential Skills Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience extracting complex datasets using SQL.
- Proven ability to manipulate and simplify complex data.
- Experience managing data visualizations using tools such as Looker Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong Excel skills including INDEX/MATCH VLOOKUP SUMIF conditional formatting and charting.
- Strong analytical skills with financial and commercial acumen.
- Ability to translate data & insights into practical strategic decisions and action plans.
- Organized structured and process-driven approach.
- Excellent communication skills to support stakeholders unfamiliar with data.
- Ability to present ideas clearly using data visualization or presentations.
- High level of end-to-end ownership for executing and influencing stakeholder outcomes.
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills to inform data-driven actions.
- Experience in an e-commerce or retail environment.
