Once You Are Here You Will
Program ownership & governance
- Delivery program vision scope operating model and success metrics; maintain the multi release roadmap and benefits case.
- Administer governance (steerco RAID stage gates) ensure audit ready documentation (e.g. SOX/SOC1 controls) and manage budgets of amount with clear capex/opex tracking.
- Lead change management across Technology Operations Treasury Retail/Commercial Banking Risk Compliance Finance and Customer Support.
Payments domain delivery
- Deliver capabilities across wires/SWIFT ACH/SEPA real time rails (e.g. RTP/FedNow/SEPA Instant/FPS) card networks (Visa/Mastercard) and cross border (gpi/ISO 20022).
- Orchestrate migration to ISO 20022 (including high/low value payments) scheme certifications and market infrastructure testing.
- Stand up/upgrade payment hub orchestration and clearing adapters; improve STP exception handling reconciliation and intraday liquidity visibility.
- Coordinate fraud AML sanctions screening tokenization authorization routing chargeback/dispute flows and customer/merchant onboarding implications.
Risk controls & compliance
- Ensure adherence to PCI DSS AML/KYC sanctions/OFAC (or local equivalent) Reg E/PSD2 SCA (as applicable) data privacy and internal model governance.
- Drive NFRs: resilience (RTO/RPO) observability throughput/latency SLOs BCP/DR and incident/problem management improvements.
Vendor & partner management
- Lead RFI/RFPs and contract negotiations for payment hubs gateways fraud tools and network connectivity (e.g. SWIFT Service Bureau TCH central bank).
- Manage SIs/partners against milestones SLAs and acceptance criteria.
Delivery & engineering collaboration
- Plan and sequence releases across multiple feature teams; balance Agile/SAFe and stage gate controls.
- Align architecture on APIs/microservices eventing (e.g. MQ/Kafka) batch vs. real time flows and core banking integration.
- Oversee cutover plans market dress rehearsals scheme certification and hypercare.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience working on project teams and delivering payments modernization projects
- 3 years of experience with business and technology for payments rails such as ACH Wire Card RTP FedNow
- 2 years of experience with emerging payment areas of focus (including Real Time Payments Mobile Wallets Payment Hubs ISO 20022 Standards and Open Banking etc.)
Additional Requirements
- Technical background in payments systems including card networks payment schemes and payment processing technologies
- Knowledge of industry standards regulations and best practices including PCI-DSS EMV ISO8583 and ISO 20022
