DescriptionThe Janitorial Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for janitorial services within educational facilities. This role ensures smooth communication between management staff and clients while handling scheduling documentation and compliance tasks. The coordinator plays a key role in maintaining service quality and supporting day-to-day operations.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.23 / per hour.
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary basedon applicants experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.
401(k) You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions dollar for dollar for the first 3%. For the next 2% ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Support:
- Prepare and maintain reports schedules and documentation for janitorial operations.
- Assist with payroll processing timekeeping and attendance tracking.
- Manage inventory records and coordinate supply orders.
Communication & Coordination:
- Serve as a liaison between janitorial staff management and school administrators.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve minor service issues promptly.
- Schedule meetings inspections and training sessions.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and district policies.
Operational Support:
- Assist in onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
- Support project managers with budget tracking and invoice preparation.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- 2 years of administrative experience preferably in facilities or janitorial services.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
