Join Our Team as an Invasive Cardiologist in Richmond VA

We are seeking a Board-Certified Invasive Cardiologist to join our practice at a reputable hospital in Richmond Virginia. This facility fosters a collaborative environment equipped to support both inpatient and outpatient care with an emphasis on providing high-quality services to adult and geriatric patients. Join us for this locum-to-perm opportunity and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular care.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient and outpatient care for adult and geriatric patients.
Perform necessary procedures including Electrocardiograms (EKGs).
Participate in a rotating call schedule (1:6) for night and weekend coverage.
Manage and supervise 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) during your coverage.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using EPIC EMR.
Contribute to a supportive work environment during the transition period for new recruitment.

Qualifications:

Board Certification in Invasive Cardiology.
Experience in managing adult and geriatric patients.
Strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and teamwork.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting patient needs.

License and Certification Requirements:

Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certification - REQUIRED
ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
AHF Fellowship with LVAD experience - REQUIRED
Active DEA Registration - REQUIRED
Valid Virginia Medical License - REQUIRED
Clean background check required for consideration - REQUIRED
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation - REQUIRED
