Job Summary

Job Title: Locum to Perm - Invasive Cardiologist

Youll be working in a supportive environment alongside experienced professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care to our community.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide care in an inpatient and outpatient clinic setting.
Participate in night and weekend call on a rotating basis.
Oversee the work of 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) and manage adult and geriatric patient populations.
Collaborate with other cardiologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Adhere to documentation protocols using the EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications:

Board-Certified in Invasive Cardiology.
Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certified.
ACLS Certification.
Advanced Heart Failure (AHF) Fellowship with LVAD experience.
Clean background for temporary positions.
Local candidate preferred; only mileage reimbursement offered.

License and Certification Requirements:

Active Virginia medical license.
DEA registration.
