Job Summary

Join Our Team as a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician in West Branch MI

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Emergency Medicine physician to provide essential care at a well-equipped facility located in the charming city of West Branch Michigan. This location is approximately 56 miles from McLaren Bay Hospital and is supported by a full emergency department staff utilizing Cerner for electronic health records. The emergency department serves around 9000 annual ER visits with procedures and acute cases managed by a trained team in a fast-paced environment. Become a part of a Float Pool that allows for flexible PRN shifts to help fill recruitment gaps and maintain quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients.
Manage up to 30 patients per day.
Collaborate with a full ED staff.
Supervise and support healthcare providers as needed.
Utilize Cerner EHR for patient documentation.
Participate in onboarding and orientation processes.
Handle a variety of emergency procedures as outlined in practice descriptions.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or open to Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with 2 years of recent EM experience.
Michigan medical license (required at time of clearance no exceptions).
Current BLS ACLS and ATLS certifications.
Clean background for swift credentialing.
Local provider preferred (no exceptions).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certified in a relevant specialty.
Active Michigan medical license.
BLS ACLS and ATLS certification.
