Job Title: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine

Engage in a collaborative work environment with full support from nursing and tech staff as well as access to complete radiology and lab services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage and evaluate a diverse patient population ensuring timely and effective treatment.
- Perform various emergency procedures including but not limited to suturing central line placement and EKG interpretation.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient care delivery and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system (Cerner).
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (No BE accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency department experience.
- Current Michigan Medical License (no exceptions not accepting IMLC).
- ACLS BLS and PALS certifications required (ABEM/ABOEM providers only need ATLS).
- Clean background for quick credentialing.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Availability as per the specified shift dates is mandatory.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan Medical License.
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Current certifications: ACLS BLS PALS (ATLS for FM/IM).
- Documentation of recent flu vaccine and COVID vaccination status.
- Compliance with required health screenings (e.g. TB Hep B MMR Varicella TDAP).
