Job Summary

Exciting Opportunity for Locum Emergency Medicine Physician in Lansing MI

Join a well-established and dynamic medical group in Lansing MI where we are seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine physician. Our facility supports a vibrant Float Pool providing the flexibility you seek while being part of an engaging healthcare environment. With a yearly ER volume of 40000 and robust support staff youll have the resources needed to focus on patient care and management.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Supervise healthcare providers including APPs and residents.
Perform various procedures including but not limited to suturing incision and drainage and ventilation management.
Ensure thorough documentation using Cerner EHR.
Participate in team meetings and maintain open communication with staff.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) REQUIRED
Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting HIGHLY PREFERRED
Active Michigan Medical License REQUIRED
Current BLS certification REQUIRED
Clean background for swift credentialing REQUIRED
Local candidates preferred REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

Michigan Medical License (Non-Compact State) REQUIRED
Board Certification in Emergency Medicine REQUIRED
BLS certification REQUIRED
