Job Summary

Join Our Emergency Medicine Team in Grand Ledge MI!

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our Float Pool for locum opportunities at a bustling facility in Grand Ledge Michigan. This facility provides comprehensive care with a projected annual emergency room volume of 15000 patient visits. With both 24/7 lab services and radiology on-site you will have the support needed to deliver excellent care to our community.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional medical care during 12-hour shifts (8AM8PM or 8PM8AM).
Manage an average patient volume of approximately 20 per day during the first 6 months increasing to about 40 by the end of year one.
Utilize 24/7 CT and X-ray services for diagnostics.
Collaborate with surgical services at the nearby Lansing location as necessary.
Document patient interactions and treatment using the facilitys electronic systems.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Current ATLS certification.
Prior experience in a similar setting preferred.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

Current Michigan medical license.
Must provide immunization records: Hepatitis B MMR Varicella Flu (for the current flu season) and TB results (within the last 12 months).
Documentation of Covid vaccination status.
TDAP booster received within the last 10 years.
