Job Summary

Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer (C/C Linux/Yocto OS9 Legacy Support)

Must have

7 10 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.

Strong proficiency in C/C programming for real-time and embedded systems.

Proven experience with Linux/Yocto build systems and customization.

Solid understanding of OS9 legacy system architecture and maintenance.

Experience in device driver development low-level debugging and hardware bring-up.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git SVN etc.).

Good understanding of embedded system design RTOS concepts and communication protocols (SPI I2C UART etc.).

Good to have

Experience with cross-compilation and bootloader configuration

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development (TDD).

Exposure to industrial or networking embedded applications.

Key role and responsibilities

Design develop integrate and maintain embedded software using C/C.

Provide legacy support for OS9-based systems ensuring stability and compatibility with current hardware and software.

Work with Linux/Yocto build environments for embedded platforms.

Develop and optimize BSPs (Board Support Packages) and device drivers.

Troubleshoot and resolve low-level hardware/software interface issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware QA and product management.

Document design specifications test procedures and technical reports.

Participate in code reviews debugging and continuous improvement activities
