Reporting directly to the Managing Director the Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager will oversee all day-to-day financial operations for a small but growing business. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys end-to-end responsibility across bookkeeping payroll oversight and statutory reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Process supplier invoices payments and expense claims.
- Oversee outsourced payroll and ensure timely accurate completion each month.
- Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory returns.
- Support month-end close and management accounts preparation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accounting Technician Part-Qualified/ Qualified Accountant (ACCA CPA CIMA) or equivalent.
- 0 years experience in an SME or similar hands-on finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping VAT and payroll processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
