Your opportunity
New Relic is looking for a highly skilled and versatile Office Manager to lead all aspects of our Bangalore office. This is a unique role that blends strategic workplace management with employee experience. You will be responsible for both the physical infrastructure and the vibrant employee experience that defines our culture. You will lead a small team manage the operational budget oversee all building systems and supplier contracts and ensure our workplace is safe efficient productive and an exceptional place to work. What youll do
- Direct and supervise all facilities activities including the management of a small team of support staff (reception security maintenance).
- Oversee the day-to-day office operations.
- Manage office layout occupancy planning and seating arrangements; lead small-scale projects office moves and renovations as needed.
- Act as the primary liaison with Service office provider management and ensure all repair work receives prompt and effective attention.
- Manage the Security operations and not just limited to badging access control and others.
- Champion and cultivate a positive collaborative and engaging office culture.
- Plan and execute a variety of internal events including team-building activities monthly lunches all- hands catering and holiday celebrations.
- Manage the comprehensive Food & Beverage (F&B) program ensuring high quality budget adherence and optimal vendor performance.
- Oversee all front-office and hospitality functions to ensure a professional and welcoming experience for all employees and visitors.
- Be the single point of contact for the EBC operations.
- Host Global employees and customers at Bangalore office.
- Develop forecast and manage the complete operational budget for the workplace and facilities ensuring all spending is within set limits.
- Manage the entire vendor lifecycle: source negotiate with and oversee all service providers.
- Oversee all administration contracts including Annual Contracts and support the procurement process including raising Purchase Orders (POs) and approving invoices.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to ensure service delivery aligns with contractual obligations.
- Lead all Health Safety and Environment (EHS) initiatives ensuring the office is fully compliant with all local regulations and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement emergency evacuation procedures crisis management protocols and business continuity plans.
- Continuously develop and document processes and policies to improve the efficiency and safety of the office.
This role requires

- Educated to degree level with suitable qualifications with relevant experience in co-working space or facilitymanagement or hotel with a demonstrable track record of being the responsiblemember of a mid - large corporate office or similar facility.

- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in emergencies
- Proficient in customer service.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a hotels hybrid Facilities and Office Management role preferably within a fast-paced high-growth tech company.
- Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Facility Management Business Administration or a related field is required.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems technical facilities operations and EHS compliance.
- Proven experience managing direct reports and supervising external vendors and contractors.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and managing operational budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- A resourceful and proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Google Workspace / Microsoft Office. Hands-on experience with AI tools like Gemini CanvaSurvey forms and usage of MacBook.
