Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Wound Care in Batavia OH
Join our dedicated team at a modern outpatient clinic located in Batavia Ohio where we focus on delivering excellent wound care. This is an exciting locum opportunity at a facility that values patient care and innovation. The role will cover a physician gap as we look to welcome permanent hires and will allow you to make a significant impact on the community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Treat skin reactions and prevent skin breakdown
- Manage and treat vascular ulcers pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcers
- Initiate preventative measures and provide comprehensive wound management
- Apply topical therapies and educate patients and their support on care techniques
- Assess and treat draining wounds and fistulae
- Implement actions to reduce the incidence of pressure and vascular ulcers
- Provide instruction on proper wound dressing
- Supervise hyperbaric oxygen treatment
Qualifications:
- Board certification in Wound Care preferred
- Experience in treating acute surgical traumatic and chronic wounds
- Knowledge of various treatments including bioengineered skin and hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Licenses and Certification Requirements:
- Current BLS certification - REQUIRED
- ACLS certification preferred for hyperbaric oxygen treatments
- Active Ohio medical license - REQUIRED
