As a Locum MD in Pediatrics you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services ensuring the well-being of our young patients. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical examinations of pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat various pediatric illnesses and conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment options
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Participate in continuing education and training programs
- Adhere to all medical guidelines and ethical standards
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina
- Experience in pediatrics preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred
Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
Daily Volume: 10-18 patients
Required Procedures: Lumbar punctures some IJ lines
No circumcisions or deliveries
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
