Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes
- Assess patients medical histories and anesthesia-related needs
- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care and patient interactions
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and practices
Requirements
- Current certification as a CRNA
- Associate degree in nursing or related field
- Experience in a clinical setting providing anesthesia care
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules and patient needs
- Minimum 6-months of coverage
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts offsite call shifts required
Must have trauma & spine experience
Mostly bread & butter cases no sick pediatrics
Supervision model: 1:4
Paid travel and expenses
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
