Job Summary

Job Purpose

This leadership role plays a pivotal role in driving significant sales growth for buildingmaterials within a designated cluster. You will be responsible for developing and executinga comprehensive sales strategy achieving ambitious GMV and revenue targets building ahigh-performing team and fostering strong customer relationships.


Key Accountabilities & Support Actions


Sales Growth & Order Management

  • Monitor sales performance across your cluster andimplement strategies to achieve assigned GMV andrevenue targets.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identifynew business opportunities for building materials.
  • Oversee efficient order processing through digital toolsand ensure timely resolution of pre-order inquiries.
  • Ensure efficient collection of all receivables fromcustomer accounts within the cluster.

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a cluster level sales strategyfor construction materials aligned with company-wideobjectives.
  • Set clear sales targets for your cluster and hold yourteam accountable for achieving them.
  • Recruit onboard and provide ongoing coaching andmentorship high-performing team of RelationshipManagers.


Data updating and processmanagement

  • Oversee the meticulous capture entry and update ofall relevant customer data within the CRM system bythe sales team. This includes ensuring timely meetingupdates accurate CX data management and efficienthandling of all inquiries.

Customer Acquisition & RelationshipManagement

  • Oversee the development and execution of a strategicplan to identify and target retailers wholesalerscontractors and builders within the (Region/City)territory.
  • Work collaboratively with your Relationship Managersto build strong relationships with key decision-makersin the construction industry.
  • Ensure effective customer onboarding and foster long-term client relationships across the cluster.

Compliance & Collaboration

  • Ensure adherence to all local regulations companystandards and policies within your cluster.
  • Foster strong collaboration across internal teams(operations finance logistics category) to guaranteesmooth order fulfilment and customer service.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational background MBA with 10 years ofexperience
  • Experience in Construction Industry & B2B Ecommerce (Building Material) industry is aplus.
  • Strong skills in Customer Relationship Management and queryresolutions.
  • Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion.Experience in financial aspects related to P&L.
  • Strong digital literacy with proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for salesenablement.
  • Building and leading teams. Proven people leadershipskills.
  • Leadership experience in handling large accounts in the e-commerce industry isrequired.
  • Networking & Relationship Management - Should have a strong localnetwork.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonalskills
