Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production technical and administrative roles.
• Manage employee relations including grievance resolution disciplinary actions and conflict management.
• Develop and implement performance management systems and conduct annual reviews.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs especially for safety compliance and technical skills.
• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws as well as manufacturing-specific regulations (e.g. OSHA).
• Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
• Collaborate with operations to promote and enforce workplace health and safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive HR Generalist experience (5 years) with a focus on manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management within an industrial setting.
• Thorough knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations and HR compliance specific to manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop and implement talent acquisition training and retention strategies for a diverse production workforce.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with plant leadership and engage with all levels of employees.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Multilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
• Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization in a manufacturing setting.
• Certification in Change Management or Organizational Development.
