This Is Not a Desk Job

Steelwrist is looking for a proven construction industry sales leader who knows how to build market share drive dealers and win business in a competitive environment. If you have real experience in construction equipment understand dealer networks and are comfortable being on the road this role is built for you.

This position is based out of our Newington CT headquarters with a hybrid schedule (in the office a couple days per week balance remote). You must live within two (2) hours of Newington CT.

What Youll Own

  • Drive sales growth and market share across assigned territories

  • Lead develop and hold dealers and OEM partners accountable

  • Identify pursue and close new business opportunities

  • Be hands-on in the field: jobsite demos ride-alongs and customer meetings

  • Train and coach sales staff throughout the U.S. and Canada

  • Represent Steelwrist at major trade shows dealer meetings and OEM events

  • Execute strategy forecast accurately and deliver results

Travel Expectations

This role requires significant travel across the United States and Canada including:

  • Trade shows and industry events

  • Dealer and OEM visits

  • Ride-alongs and sales training in the field

If frequent travel and face-to-face selling isnt for you this is not the role.

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction or construction equipment industry

  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership or senior sales roles

  • Deep understanding of construction equipment attachments and dealer networks

  • Strong closer with executive-level communication skills

  • Self-starter who thrives with accountability and performance expectations

  • Willing and able to travel extensively

Location Requirement

  • Must live within two (2) hours of Newington CT

  • Required to be in the Newington office multiple days per week
