The Faculty of Education

We now invite applications for appointment as Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Audiology in the Faculty of Education.
Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will teach mainly in and provide service to the speech-language pathology and audiology programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and contribute to collaborative and interdisciplinary efforts with colleagues across the University. He/She will also supervise research postgraduate students contribute actively to research and knowledge exchange undertake clinical practicum supervision and assume service/administrative responsibilities as appropriate. Those appointed at the senior level will also lead collaborative and interdisciplinary initiatives in research and knowledge exchange mentor and nurture the next generation of scholars and researchers and assume high-level service/administrative responsibilities.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should possess (i) a Ph.D. degree in Audiology or a related discipline; (ii) experience or knowledge in clinical audiology with children and/or adults; and (iii) a proven track record in or strong potential for research scholarly publications and competitive external funding. Experience in tertiary teaching will be an advantage. Those with qualifications and experience acceptable for professional registration with the Hong Kong Institute of Audiologists are preferred.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 3 years initially to commence on August 1 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of the second three-year fixed-term contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms subject to approval.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary.
