Job Summary
Project Coordinator (at the rank of Senior Research Assistant) (several posts) in theDivision of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice School of Public Health (Ref.: 534133) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary term or two-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree or above preferably in Public Health Biological/Medical Science Nursing or related areas with at least 5 years of relevant working experience. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should be analytical mature attentive to details and able to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should have substantial experience in implementing community surveillance and health promotion projects along with administrative experience with research funding management. Additionally proficiency in statistical analysis and report writing is preferred.
The appointees will assist in the implementation of public health surveillance and health promotion programme and data management tasks in the Division. They will conduct participant recruitment and monitoring clinical data and specimen collection preparation of research summaries drafting of reports and manuscripts and providing other administrative and technical support as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
