Sales Manager Flow Measurement Products

Job Summary:

Primary purpose of the job is to manage Sales & Business development activities for Flow Measurement Products (Coriolis flow meter Magnetic & Vortex Flow meter Roxar MPFM inline and clamp on Ultrasonic Flow meter) within Nigeria Ghana & EG Countries. This position is intended to drive traditional Measurement Solutions technology conversation and technology adoption/acceptance of the products/solutions to grow business in all industries in Nigeria Ghana and EG Market.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead Sales Business development support project pursuit initiatives for flow measurement products in assigned and new accounts in Nigeria Ghana and EG to meet or exceed BU financial objectives.
• Develop own and execute the relevant BU Strategic Plan and Key Initiatives to grow flow business in these accounts.
• Uncover growth opportunities and manage all the Sales opportunities in the market (Customers EPCs /OEMs/ System Integrators) for flow products in Nigeria Ghana and EG.
• Improve Business group and customer satisfaction by understanding communicating and executing solutions to their needs.
• Participate in developing and executing sales strategies for projects Upgrades and MRO opportunities. Maintain an accurate project pursuit list monthly POR and provide monthly reports and forecasts to Regional Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with other regional sales individuals Product Managers and LBPs across Nigeria Ghana and EG - as needed - work closely with Emerson & LBP proposal generation groups to ensure all offers reflect customer needs competitively priced and are submitted on time.
• Liaise with customers Emerson teams and LBPs to prioritize effort gather competitive intelligence and improve customer service consistent with Business Groups sales strategies and Key Account Plans
• Keep up to date with developments and trends in products industries and market conditions develop and maintain sales tools within the scope of work execute and own Business Group related marketing activities.
• Work closely with other Emerson Business groups to maximize pull-through content and identify white spaces.
• Support strengthening existing and develop new Business Group relationships and develop new relationships with customer or third-party personnel (i.e. regulatory legal agencies customer technical boards consultants etc.) who may influence and make buying decisions.
• Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required

• Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices

For this Role You Will Need:

• Engineering degree or relevant work experience
• Minimum 10 years experience in Sales and Marketing with at least 5 years of selling Field Instrumentation (Pressure/Temp transmitters Flow meters Level measurement and Analyzers) experience to Metals & Mining customers/end users.
• Knowledge and situational Fluency of Metals & Mining Industry
