Job Title Lead Project Controls
Reports to: Head of Department / SBU Lead - Project Controls
Job Grade/Level :Manager & Senior Manager
Perform the Project Monitoring & Control activities of Transmission Line & Substation projects as Planner/Scheduler
Description Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead project controls functions across multiple projects or regional operations.
• Implement standardized project controls frameworks tools and procedures.
• Align project controls strategy with corporate objectives and regional priorities.
• Oversee development and maintenance of integrated project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ensure alignment of schedules with project milestones resource plans and contractual obligations.
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario planning.
• Review and validate cost estimates change orders and earned value metrics.
• Support financial reporting and cash flow analysis.
• Implement risk management processes including identification assessment and mitigation planning.
• Track KPIs and project health indicators; prepare dashboards and executive reports.
• Lead project reviews and support audits and governance activities.
• Collaborate with project managers finance procurement and engineering teams.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Act as a key liaison between corporate and regional project teams
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Experience:
8 to 15 Years Experience managing controls across a portfolio or regional office
