Jockey Club Sarah Roe School is part of the English Schools Foundation (ESF) and is a unique and vibrant learning community. We are seeking a self-motivated strategic and data-driven leader to join our team. Assessment Leader (TLR2) will drive our school-wide approach to assessment and data. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every students learning journey is tailored to their unique needs. The successful candidate will lead the systems that allow us to evaluate the impact of our teaching personalise learning pathways and use evidence to inform our School Enhancement Plan.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold a Bachelor Degree in Education or a Bachelor Degree in any subject with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education) or equivalent.
  • Have a proven minimum of 5 years teaching experience within a recognised educational organisation.
  • Have prior experience of holding a responsibility within a team ideally related to assessment data analysis or a related function.
  • Have a proven track record of using assessment data to inform teaching practice and improve student outcomes.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Have knowledge and expertise in educational technology including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the potential of AI in assessment.
  • Be a reflective and strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and lead change.
  • Be a positive collaborative and enthusiastic member of the staff team.
  • Excellent communication organisation and leadership skills are vital.
