What Youll Be Doing
Assist in building updating and testing quantitative models used in retirement investment and insurance advice.
Under senior guidance implement model changes for new products clients or regions.
Translate advice rules and client requirements into Excel formulas or basic coding.
Verify calculations troubleshoot discrepancies and contribute to clean documentation and version control.
Run test scenarios and record outputs for validation and release cycles.
Compare expected vs actual results and help identify calculation issues.
Work through testing tickets and support investigations with the quantitative team.
Maintain organised test evidence and participate in peer reviews.
Work closely with senior quants to learn modelling standards and configuration processes.
Join team meetings workshops and training sessions to deepen both technical and business knowledge.
Collaborate with product engineering and consulting teams to understand how quantitative logic is integrated into a broader advice platform.
Suggest improvements for efficiency accuracy or documentation.
Support internal projects related to data testing or model enhancement.
Own small clearly defined tasks and deliver them within agreed timelines.
