Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health and preventive measures
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide follow-up care and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current NP or PA license in the state of practice
- Basic understanding of cardiology and related medical practices
- Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
No call or weekend requirement
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Patient Census: 25 per day
Responsibilities: Pre and post-procedure care with follow-up responsibilities
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
