Responsible for developing finalizing and posting employee schedules that meet the staffing model needs of the work unit. Acquires and maintains current knowledge of the electronic scheduling system Workforce Timekeeper (WTK) Microsoft Office and other computer applications. Maintains accurate and complete employee schedules. Troubleshoots and manages scheduling/staffing issues and effectively communicates information to appropriate personnel. Utilizes good customer relations and communication skills in answering the phone and interacting with staff leadership and other health care professionals to ensure high customer satisfaction. Demonstrates a positive and professional demeanor. Ability to work well with others independently as well as in a team. Must possess skills in coping understanding organization and prioritization attention to detail problem solving critical thinking and decision making. Assists with training new employees on the electronic scheduling system. Additional projects and duties may be assigned by the leadership team.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience or leadership experience. Or an associate degree in business or healthcare with either scheduling or leadership experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word as well as in keyboarding skills.
