About the company

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a leading provider of premium heavy equipment and engines across Indonesia.

  • Maintains a robust customer network within their territory and actively nurtures relationships through regular engagement both formal and informal.
  • Experienced in leading and coaching teams including taking corrective or disciplinary action when necessary and conducting performance inspections.
  • Has a background in retail sales (as opposed to major account sales) with a hands-on approach to customer engagement.
  • Possesses deeper product and market knowledge than their team enabling them to lead with authority inspire confidence and serve as a subject-matter expert.
  • Proven ability to grow market share and deliver measurable sales results in the heavy equipment sector.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors degree (S1) from any discipline.
  • At least 2 years in a Sales Manager role within the engine industry or as a Branch Manager Regional Manager or Sales Manager in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Direct experience in unit sales (e.g. heavy equipment or cranes) is essentialexperience limited to product support or services is not sufficient.
  • Prior hands-on experience in direct selling (e.g. as a Sales Executive or Key Account Manager) is required.
  • Candidates should come from the heavy equipment crane or leasing sectors ideally with a customer base within e.g. mining construction agriculture rental.
  • Well-acquainted with the regional landscape and business environment across East Kalimantan (IKN).
