Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a leading provider of premium heavy equipment and engines across Indonesia.
Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong mature leadership with the ability to earn trust and respect from team members.
- Exhibits high energy confidence and enthusiasm in interactionsespecially during the selection processreflecting genuine motivation to join the company.
- Possesses a proactive results-driven mindset (hunter profile) with resilience in the face of setbacks and a constructive approach to continuous improvement.
- Applies strategic thinking across all aspects of the role from planning to execution.
- Has a proven habit of conducting structured sales cadences (daily weekly and monthly) which is a critical success factor for the company.
- Shows strong determination and persistence in exceeding sales targets and driving performance.
- Brings a clear actionable strategy for accelerating sales growth.
- Maintains a robust customer network within their territory and actively nurtures relationships through regular engagement both formal and informal.
- Experienced in leading and coaching teams including taking corrective or disciplinary action when necessary and conducting performance inspections.
- Has a background in retail sales (as opposed to major account sales) with a hands-on approach to customer engagement.
- Possesses deeper product and market knowledge than their team enabling them to lead with authority inspire confidence and serve as a subject-matter expert.
- Proven ability to grow market share and deliver measurable sales results in the heavy equipment sector.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors degree (S1) from any discipline.
- At least 2 years in a Sales Manager role within the engine industry or as a Branch Manager Regional Manager or Sales Manager in the heavy equipment industry.
- Direct experience in unit sales (e.g. heavy equipment or cranes) is essentialexperience limited to product support or services is not sufficient.
- Prior hands-on experience in direct selling (e.g. as a Sales Executive or Key Account Manager) is required.
- Candidates should come from the heavy equipment crane or leasing sectors ideally with a customer base within e.g. mining construction agriculture rental.
- Well-acquainted with the regional landscape and business environment across East Kalimantan (IKN).
