Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced fintech organisation as a Technical Compliance Analyst within the Technical Services team. This versatile role ensures Class software complies with tax and superannuation legislation and ATO specifications supporting accurate financial reporting and lodgements. Youll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders manage compliance processes resolve complex client issues and contribute to product development and regulatory updates.Responsibilities:
Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory changes to ensure timely software compliance.
Maintain compliance calendars and disseminate updates across the business.
Assist with product requirements workflow design and compliance sign-off for releases.
Investigate and resolve complex Level 2/3 support escalations and act as SME for clients.
Conduct legal and compliance research across tax superannuation and corporate areas.
Deliver compliance training sessions webinars and maintain user guides and knowledge base.
Manage SuperStream processes troubleshoot escalations and ensure regulatory adherence.
Perform QA and analysis on tax statement automation and liaise with fund managers.
Participate in ad-hoc projects involving data analysis testing and automation using SQL/APIs.
Engage in industry research and contribute to benchmark reports and regulatory submissions.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting Business Commerce Finance Information Systems or Law.
Minimum 3 years experience in CA/CPA firm fund administration or similar roles.
Strong organisational skills attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment under pressure. Experience in legal/tax/compliance research (highly regarded).
Knowledge of Australian Tax Trust Super and Corporate legislation (training provided).
Proficiency in SQL and API tools (e.g. Postman) for data analysis and workflow automation.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence). Professional certifications such as CPA CA SSA or Tax Agent accreditation (advantageous).
