For our Engineering Plastics division we are looking for a Sales Account Manager (m/f/d) in our Frankfurt office to strengthen our team as soon as possible:
Responsibilities:
- Development of our Engineering Plastics business in Electronics Industrial and construction segments across Western Europe
- Identify develop and manage strategic customer relationships with OEMs Tier suppliers and component manufacturers
- Build a deep understanding of customer applications and market trends to identify new growth opportunities
- Act as the key commercial interface between LG Chem and the customer ensuring a high level of satisfaction and long-term cooperation
- Analyze market and competitor activities to support business strategy and portfolio positioning
- Represent LG Chems Engineered Plastics portfolio at industry events and customer workshops
Experience Requirements / Competencies:
- A successfully completed degree in Polymer Engineering Material Science Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience in sales technical marketing or application development of engineering plastics
- Solid knowledge of thermoplastics such as PC PC/ABS PBT PA or related compounds
- Proven track record in key account management or business development within the E&E industrial or construction market
- Strong communication negotiation and project management skills combined with a proactive result-oriented mindset
- Entrepreneurial personality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix and multicultural environment
- Excellent user knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel PPT Word)
- Very good business fluency in German and English language additional knowledge of another European language (e.g. French Spanish) is desirable
- Willingness to travel > 50% within Western Europe
