Job Summary
We are seeking a reservations manager.
Ideally you will have successfully completed training in the hotel industry and already gained some initial experience in reservations or at reception. You are fluent in spoken and written English enjoy sales and have a charming manner on the telephone.
In this position you will be responsible for reservations for two hotels the ibis and ibis budget Leipzig City. Your main tasks will include:
Accepting and processing reservation enquiries
Handling individual and group reservations
Preparing offers and contracts
Checking arrivals and reservations
Active sales and advising guests on the telephone regarding room bookings and the services offered by the hotels
General correspondence
Following up on options and cancellation deadlines
Qualifications :
What you bring to the table:
A service-oriented personality is essential; experience in dealing with guests/customers is an advantage.
You have experience working with Opera or a similar system.
You have excellent interpersonal/social skills and are very solution-oriented.
You have very good English skills; additional language skills are an advantage.
