Our client a foremost payment telecom and enterprise solutions company licensed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in Nigeria seeks a Sales Account Manager Enterprise & Cybersecurity Solutions to drive and promote cybersecurity business products and services.
JOB SUMMARY
The Account Manager (Cybersecurity Focus) will be responsible for managing key customer relationships driving new business across cybersecurity solutions and ensuring exceptional customer experience from pre-sales to post-deployment. This role requires strong technical understanding of cybersecurity products excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions and results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own full sales lifecycle for enterprise and upper mid-market customers.
Drive revenue across all cybersecurity portfolios: Fraudnet Portnox Sophos & Fortinet ImmuniWeb Keeper Security Commvault Qualys Veracode Imperva VMware and others.
Develop monitor and review strategies to drive sustainable and profitable cybersecurity solutions to ensure continuous volume and revenue growth.
Deliver accurate pipeline revenue forecasting and management of cybersecurity business performance in line with approved commercial objectives.
Establish best-practice sales and account management processes to grow the cybersecurity business.
Maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners and potential customers to expand cybersecurity footprint across regions.
Develop product design frameworks to guide product lifecycle management ensuring productmarket fit and sustainable ROI.
Provide ongoing advisory and deep knowledge of the Nigerian cybersecurity market to potential partners.
Review market trends industry context and implications for cybersecurity solutions in Nigeria.
Stay abreast of new rules pricing and regulatory changes to support the companys enterprise business strategic goals.
Collaborate actively with commercial planning and operations teams to prioritize product launches and resolve issues to enhance customer experience.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 4 years experience in strategic account/sales roles within IT Software Telecoms or related industries.
Bachelors degree/equivalent in Business Administration Electrical Electronics Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology.
Hands-on functional understanding of multiple cybersecurity solutions such as Qualys Check Point Cisco Juniper Fortinet FortiGate Palo Alto etc.
Practical knowledge of security vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
Strong selling account management and sales strategy development skills in a fast-paced mobile network environment.
Ability to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
Provide technical pre-sales support to customers partners and resellers; including product evaluations consultation and collaboration with product marketing R&D and post-sales teams.
Strong client relationship management interpersonal skills and customer-oriented mindset.
Applied knowledge of business planning product management and budget management.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive business information.
Ability to work independently resolve complex issues and deliver business outcomes.
Provide technical leadership to enterprise customers across pre-sales functions including evaluations consultation post-sales advocacy and proactive needs assessments.
Deliver consistent product training technology updates release updates and roadmap insights.
Stay abreast of new rules pricing and regulatory trends to be able to support the Enterprise Business strategic goals.
Actively collaborate with commercial functions planning and operations teams to prioritize product launches and issues resolution in order to boost customer experience.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Fluent in English.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions (Qualys Check Point Cisco Juniper Fortinet FortiGate Palo Alto).
Strong consultative selling negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Excellent written communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders from firewall administrators to C-Level executives.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce HubSpot or similar platforms.
