The Office of the Registrar an academic service center for the University of Denver community takes an active role in assisting students and faculty with registration and advising by providing the tools needed to review academic progress create class schedules and successfully register for classes. Specialized services include but are not limited to registering for classes prompt transcript distribution degree evaluation and certification enrollment and degree verification classroom scheduling and withdrawal processing. We provide pertinent information regarding academic policy federal regulations and procedures as related to the procurement maintenance and release of educational records of our current and former students.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Registrar for Registration and Records the Registrar Coordinator is one of two initial points of contact for the Office of the Registrar. This position is responsible for providing registration support facilitating accurate and efficient registration processes in accordance with institutional policy providing outstanding customer service through email phone and in-person interactions and communicating academic policies and deadlines as they relate to registration.
Examples of work performed by Registrar Coordinator include processing leave of absences and student withdrawals in compliance with federal and institutional policies; build course sections for and register students in experiential learning independent study and independent research opportunities; maintain accuracy and retention of registration-related materials and records; review respond and refer inquiries received by the Office of the Registrar by students staff faculty and community members over the phone and email; provide guidance to student employees within the Office of the Registrar when needed; navigate and solve registration problems with students; process degree and enrollment verifications; and assist with additional tasks related to registration and records as required.

Hourly Rate
The hourly rate for this position is $22.50.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
