Key Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will provide hands-on coordination and field-level management of the ECO-YOUTH Projects implementation in the assigned areas. Together with the AP Program Officers the role will ensure smooth execution of activities effective coordination with partners and beneficiaries and accurate documentation and reporting of project progress. He/She will directly report to the Project Manager of ECO-YOUTH Project.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with local government units (LGUs) TESDA-accredited training providers partner companies and community organizations to ensure the programs goals are achievedempowering youth to access decent and sustainable green jobs.
Project Implementation and Coordination
- Coordinate day-to-day implementation of project activities with the AP Program Officers (POs) within assigned sites (Quezon City BASECO Malabon).
- Support the organization and facilitation of key activities such as (a) ECO-YOUTH Launch Forum and trainings (b)Technical-vocational education sessions (c) Internships and on-the-job training placements (d) Entrepreneurship exposure visits incubation and business model presentations (e) Financial literacy and values formation sessions and (f) Culminating Summit and job fair events .
- Together with the AP teams coordinate with partner schools institutions and LGUs to ensure schedules venues and logistics are well managed.
- Facilitate participant engagement and follow-ups to ensure high attendance and completion rates.
- Assist in securing documentation permits and logistical needs for community-based activities.
Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with partner agencies private companies social enterprises and community groups to facilitate trainings internships or mentorship sessions.
- Support the Project Manager in partnership meetings coordination calls and drafting partnership documents or reports.
- Represent World Vision in local meetings and events when delegated ensuring alignment with the projects objectives and standards.
Youth Engagement and Support
- Serve as the main point of contact for youth participants in assigned sites.
- Monitor the progress attendance and needs of youth participants during trainings internships and business incubation activities.
- Coordinate mentorship sessions and provide ongoing guidance to ensure positive youth outcomes.
- Facilitate learning sessions and assist resource persons during trainings and forums.
Monitoring Evaluation and Reporting
- Maintain updated participant databases training attendance records and documentation of project activities.
- Collect and compile monitoring data feedback and success stories for regular reporting.
- Prepare activity reports photo documentation and summaries for submission to the Project Manager.
- Support the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team in data collection and evaluation activities including pre- and post-training assessments.
Administration and Financial Management
- Manage local-level project logistics procurement requests and coordination of supplies materials and venues.
- Ensure proper liquidation and financial documentation for project activities following World Vision standards.
- Support the Project Manager in tracking project budgets and ensuring cost-effective implementation.
Advocacy and Sustainability Support
- Assist in promoting awareness on green jobs and environmental sustainability within the community.
- Support the establishment of a Green Jobs Network and link youth to opportunities after training completion.
- Work with LGU partners to identify opportunities for integrating the ECO-YOUTH approach into existing local development or youth programs.
Organizational
- Regularly attend or lead in the Corporate and Team devotion and prayer as part of staff spiritual nurturing.
- Participate in meetings and events such as team and organizational meetings as necessary.
- Timely submission of Performance Agreements that include Individual Learning and Development Plan and staff spiritual nurture plan and Annual Performance Reviews.
- Support emergency response as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Development Studies Community Development Environmental Science Education Business Administration or any related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in coordinating development or livelihood programs preferably those involving youth engagement skills training or entrepreneurship.
- Experience working with LGUs TESDA and/or community-based organizations.
- Background in environmental programs or green livelihoods is an advantage.
- Strong organizational coordination and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities particularly in engaging youth and community stakeholders.
- Basic financial and administrative management competencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and basic digital tools for coordination and reporting.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
