DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington DC area with offices in multiple cities including Atlanta that Leases/Rents vehicles to Uber Lyft and other On-Demand or Rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start up culture is a must.

Our goal is to deliver superior customer service respect expertise and responsiveness to our customers. As stewards of our company you will be responsible for awarding every customer with a positive rental experience.

Position Summary: Were seeking an adaptable detail-oriented HR & Talent Coordinator to join our growing parent company. This is a unique opportunity to be the first addition to our HR team and support employees across four sister companies. Youll be hands-on with payroll recruiting and HR operations ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience while building scalable processes alongside the Head of HR.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

Payroll & HR Operations

  • Administer payroll accurately and on time in partnership with finance/payroll vendors.

  • Maintain employee data in HRIS and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

  • Support benefits administration and respond to employee HR questions.

Recruiting & Talent Support

  • Post job openings review applicants and conduct initial resume screens.

  • Coordinate interview scheduling and manage candidate communications.

  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and professional hiring process.

Employee Experience

  • Respond to day-to-day HR inquiries from employees.

  • Assist with onboarding new hires (offer letters background checks I-9s etc.).

  • Help design and improve HR processes as the company scales.

Qualifications Required:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in related field

  • 13 years of experience in HR recruiting coordination or payroll administration.

  • Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS ATS payroll software).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced growing environment where priorities shift.

Work Environment:

Typical work environment includes desktop computing work using typical desktop computing equipment (laptop keyboard mouse monitors desk chair) in an office environment and/or remote workspace environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit and use typical desktop computing workspace equipment - e.g. mouse keyboard monitor phone - for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a typical desktop computing workstation.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing using virtual meeting and communication tools such as email Google Meet and Slack.

Salary: $7 - 12 USD per hour; depending on experience
