Workplace Arrangements:

This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office on Walkley Road 1 day a week for an 8-5 schedule.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Maintain and manage the seasonal Distribution Plan including weekly freight true-ups and risk reporting.

  • Analyze import and transit-time performance late POs correction notices and inbound analytics (including Tiger Trucking).

  • Collaborate with Inventory Planners Replenishment Import and DC Operations to optimize inbound/outbound freight flow and resolve order or inventory issues.

  • Review POG schedules against incoming inventory and provide recommendations to level-load product flow.

  • Support new vendor setup (Transplus) store closure coordination and system testing or validation impacting freight forecasting.

What Youll Bring:

  • Business Degree required and minimum 2 years Transportation/Supply Chain experience with a working knowledge of freight/logistics OR High School Diploma and 5 years Transportation/Supply Chain experience with a working knowledge of freight/logistics.

  • Proven skills and competencies as an experienced and proficient Inventory Planner

  • Proven analytical organization and time management skills

  • Strong computer skills including Outlook Excel Word knowledge of Transportation Management Systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to provide assistance answer questions and resolve issues and concerns effectively

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment on a team and independently

  • 2 years in Cognos BI Reporting stack

  • Strong knowledge of available data sources

  • Solid knowledge of business intelligence tools
