About the role

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the integrity and quality of education at TAFE NSW. As a Course Quality and Self-Assurance Specialist you will play a key role in embedding educational quality compliance and self-assurance frameworks into course development processes. Youll collaborate with Faculty and course development teams to ensure course content meets internal standards and external regulatory requirements while supporting continuous improvement and academic integrity.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of vocational education standards a passion for quality assurance and the ability to influence and support teams in delivering high-quality learning outcomes.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Aboriginality (Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act of 1977). Candidates selected for an interview must provide Confirmation of Aboriginality documentation at or before interview.
  • Appropriate Degree or Diploma at AQF level 5-8 or equivalent or equivalent skills knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary learning and assessment techniques.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the standards and regulatory environment governing vocational education and training.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting educational quality and compliance-focused initiatives to drive organisation-wide improvements and outcomes.
