Job Summary
Roblox is looking for an experienced Senior Counsel Litigation to join our Legal this role you will provide management and support for a variety of litigation disputes and investigations including regulatory consumer product liability insurance and intellectual property disputes. You will report to our Director Litigation.
Location: The position is seated at Roblox Headquarters in San Mateo CA. Robloxs mandatory in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday with optional in-office days on Monday and Friday.
You Will:
- Collaborate with and manage outside litigation counsel
- Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks
- Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities and subpoena responses
- Address pre-litigation disputes
- Assist with internal investigations
- Support Legal department and team related projects as assigned
You Have:
- 7 years of litigation experience (law firm experience is required)
- Technology company experience preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic organization preferred
- Membership in good standing with the California Bar (or other bar association with the ability to register as in-house counsel in California)
- Broad complex litigation experience with emphasis in regulatory consumer products liability multi-district litigations and/or class actions
- Excellent judgment discretion and risk assessment
- Strong and effective drafting skills
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
- Practical business acumen driving pragmatic business-oriented solutions
- A highly approachable collegial and collaborative approach
- Accountable and proactive self-starter comfortable working independently
- Superb organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
