Role Summary

This role involves representing public entities and private clients in complex real estate litigation matters including eminent domain and inverse condemnation cases. The associate will work on high-impact matters in state and federal courts collaborating closely with experienced trial attorneys on sophisticated property and land-use disputes.

Key Responsibilities

Handle complex litigation involving property acquisition eminent domain inverse condemnation and land-use disputes.
Participate in all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial and appeal.
Draft and review motions pleadings briefs and discovery responses.
Conduct law and motion practice including preparing and arguing dispositive motions.
Build trial-ready cases through fact investigation evidence development and witness interviews.
Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses for hearings and trial.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation teams on case strategy and execution.

Skills & Qualifications

3 7 years of litigation experience; real estate land-use or eminent domain experience preferred.
Exceptional legal research writing and advocacy skills.
Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
Professional judgment attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
