Role Summary This position involves representing a wide range of clients in construction-related disputes including owners contractors subcontractors designers consultants and public entities. The role spans the full litigation lifecycle-from early dispute resolution and negotiation to arbitration and courtroom litigation-within a collaborative litigation team.
Key Responsibilities -
Represent clients in construction disputes and litigation matters.

Draft review and respond to pleadings motions and discovery.

Conduct detailed legal research and prepare memoranda and briefs.

Manage complex factual investigations and assist with trial preparation.

Analyze and interpret construction contracts including bonds and warranties.

Participate in settlement negotiations mediations arbitrations and trials.
-
Support senior attorneys with case strategy development and client communications.
Skills & Qualifications -
Active California Bar membership (required).

Demonstrated experience in complex litigation; construction litigation experience strongly preferred.

Excellent legal writing research and analytical skills.

Strong professional judgment attention to detail and organizational skills.

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.

Professional maturity and strong communication skills for client-facing work.
Ideal Candidate Profile -
4 8 years of litigation experience ideally with exposure to construction law or complex commercial disputes.

Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.

Interested in developing deeper expertise in construction litigation and dispute resolution.
